Daily Deviation

Given 2010-03-24
Both the suggestor and I had the most difficult time trying to decide on just one piece to feature from ~sorinapostolescu's beautiful gallery. Abyss serves as a wonderful piece to showcase the artist's dexterity and knowledge of oils, demonstrating a lovely sense of balance between the washed luminescence of a sunlit space and the glittering impasto details seemingly embroidered within. One could easily be immersed in this aura of dreaminess. Please enjoy! ( Suggested by ~DianaCretu and Featured by `snowmask )
